Voyages and Missions

Adventure and discovery. Both are powerful forces. Curiosity about the universe that surrounds us, combined with the endless quest for thrilling adventure, has driven many to seek out new and untried things. And as the world discovered that flight was possible, it reached out for new records. Who could go the farthest, the highest, and who could endure the most. Man has pushed himself to be the best, and to win the race. And the space race is no different. One country against the other, and yet all united with all eyes set on one goal: Space.

The following pages are a tribute to all who have worked toward that goal. Included in this section of the site are just some of the many attempts, successful and unsuccessful, to go beyond our skies.
